Step One: $14.95, Complete the TLSAE Course, the Drug & Alcohol Course. This can be substituted/replaced by another out-of-state license in some instances and (or) by a Florida State-approved out-of-country license. Step Two: $23.95, Everyone must take and successfully pass the Permit Exam also known as the writing test or the computer test. After completing step one, teenagers aged 15-17 (only) can complete the Official Florida Permit Exam online.
